About Transco

Autobus Transco has been serving the Greater Montreal area since 1982, with divisions located in Montreal North, Pointe Claire, Lasalle, Anjou, Saint-Hubert, Delson, Mascouche and Repentigny. Since the summer of 2022, we have also had facilities in Quebec City and Nova Scotia. Transco currently operates a fleet of more than 2,000 vehicles and employs 2,070 people in the two provinces. Serving 20 school service centres, 7 public schools, the Quebec City - Baie Comeau - Sept Iles - Havre St Pierre intercity route, and offering employee shuttle services, charter trips and public transit on Montreal's South Shore, Transco transports more than 200,000 passengers safely every day.

Autobus Transco is also a leader in the electrification of school transportation. With 317 electric vehicles in operation in Quebec, we are the largest owner and operator of zero-emission school buses in North America, clearly demonstrating our commitment to clean and sustainable modes of transportation. Transco is making a significant contribution to achieving the government's target of having 65% of Quebec's bus fleet electrified by 2030.

Innovation

Transco has always been an industry leader in transportation innovation, our company was the first to equip all of its buses with a distancing arm that allows students to cross safely; we were the first to install GPS in all our vehicles as well as a system to ensure that no student is left on board if they are asleep.
